that "the Navy jet that crashed this morning was no accident" and that it was
caused by the R.I.O. Randy Rawlings. When Tom and Cassy get to the crash site, they run
into Navy intelligence officers Ken Baines and Barbara Ferry who have the Sergeants
ushered from the crime scene. Tom and Cassy refuse to give up so easily, and begin their
own investigation, starting with questioning Randy Rawlings, the civilian test pilot who
served as R.I.O. for Carolyn Mayfield, the pilot who died during the crash.

of the Rivers Crossing swimsuit manufacturing company. Tom and Cassy suspect foul play,
and their primary suspect is Rikki Rivers--the co-owner of the business--since she had the
most to gain from the deaths. Another suspect is Chance Reynolds, Rikki's ex-husband, who
had given his 20% of the company to Stewart and Lance. Meanwhile, Tom goes out with the
anal retentive Judith Millay.

what looks like a professional hit. The Captain tells Tom and Cassy to stick with the list
of Meyerson's clients, and to not to go off on any hunches. While perusing the list, Tom
notices that Judge Drell tried most of Meyerson's cases, and has a hunch that the judge is
dirty. With the aid of some of Cassy's nerdy friends, the sergeants are able to track one
of the cars that left the garage the night of the murder to Sammy Porcaro, "one of
Nicky the Greek's goons;" and it just so happens that Nicky the Greek is going before
Judge Drell. Sgt. Ryan soon suspects a re-hashing of the old "Strangers on a
Train" plot. Other suspects include Norman Harrison--the only husband that Meyerson
ever defended--and Patricia Van Barrow--Meyerson's partner and insurance policy
beneficiary. Meanwhile, Cassy wonders about Tom's secret phone conversations.

Sterling. The detectives discover that B.G.C. stands for the Biscayne Garden Club--or as
the ex-Mrs. Morton puts it, the Bad Girls Club--an elite society for high-profile wives.
Meanwhile, DA Gloria Sherwood tries to bury the case as a B&E, and puts pressure on
Ryan and St. John to leave the Sterlings alone; Tom searches for "entertainment"
for his buddy's bachelor party.

Stephanie had threatened Chick's life over this. When they talk to Ms. Turlanian, she
suggests that the bombing was probably done by Artie Sayles, the president of the
printers' union, who was also having problems with the Chandlers. Mr. Sayles, in turn,
suggests that Ms. Turlanian is responsible for the murder. While Chick remains atop
Cassy's suspect list, Tom is not convinced he's guilty. Meanwhile, bomb squad lieutenant
Duralde assists Ryan and St. John in their case.

the Departmental Recertification Test; and Captain Lipschitz goes to extreme measures to
win the annual policemens picnic cook-off.

Recordswho became president once Rafferty was out of the picture. Meanwhile, Marnie
is on vacation, so Der-rick Monroe must help out the two detectives with their technical

sergeants suspects include Nate PattersonSharp's ex-manager, and Harrison
Peaka rival motivational speaker. Mean-while, Tom falls for Gracewho's an avid
college football fanand wants to be with her, despite the fact that she is going
blind. (Interesting note: the final fight scene of this episode takes place at the Marriot
Mission Valley Hotel in San Diegothe hotel where the cast and crew stays.)
